The Center for Law Enforcement Technology, Training, & Research (LETTR) is a Florida, not-for-profit Corporation. LETTR was formed in September 2007 by the University of Central Florida and members of the Florida Law Enforcement Data Sharing Consortium to consolidate the intellectual property and other resources associated with FINDERSM, the Florida Integrated Network for Data Exchange and Retrieval.
Since its beginnings, LETTR has participated in additional technology related projects including the development of CrimeNet, a trend and patterning analysis application. CrimeNet has the ability to produce crime bulletins, officer safety bulletins and intelligence bulletins as well as providing a sexual offender registry and tracking module.
LETTR continues to seek out and participate in law enforcement technology based projects. Please feel free to contact us for further information.
